Rio Vista Varsity Rams Hold Off Vacaville Christian in 6-5 Thriller

Taylor Bledsoe went 4-for-4 with two doubles and two singles, leading Rio Vista Varsity Rams past Vacaville Christian 6-5 on Thursday.

Rio Vista struck first in the first inning on an Amily Jackson double. Vacaville Christian took a 3-1 lead in the second before Rio Vista tied it in the fourth on an Aaliyah Kittlings groundout. Bledsoe's RBI double in the fifth put Rio Vista ahead for good, with a Makyla Mandujano groundout extending the lead to 5-3.

Jackson earned the win, going seven innings and allowing 14 hits and five runs while striking out five. Bledsoe stole three bases as Rio Vista swiped six total.

Vacaville Christian finished with 14 hits and seven stolen bases but couldn't overcome the late deficit.
